When did people start saying 'how it looks like,' as in, 'Let me show you how it looks like'?

This is so nonsensical that I can hardly bear it. Look:

'Let me show you how it looks.' YES!
'Let me show you what it looks like.' YES!
'Let me show you how it looks like.' NO! A thousand times, NO!!
